Report Card

Exterior: Good. Wedge shape and little wheels give the Insight a clean, modern look but nothing original.
Interior: Excellent. Dual tier instrument panel easy to read, quality materials and nice layout combine form and function.
Performance: Good. Fun to drive around town with spirited pickup and excellent handling characteristics. But slightly underpowered engine and light body works against the Insight on the highway, where it feels less stable than traditional gas-only compacts.
Safety: Excellent. Electronic stability control, crumple zones and full set of air bags.
Pros: High overall mileage and low price make this a nice daily driver.
Cons: Gets tossed around on windy days and engine feels underpowered.

Though the dash seems overdone with silver plastic trim, it packs in lots of features, like an optional navigation system, Bluetooth connectivity and climate control.



The front seats are nicely bolstered, improving an already comfortable and well-crafted interior despite the vehicle's diminutive size.



The 60/40 folding second row provides 31.5 cubic feet of open storage. Folded up, it provides enough space to fit three adults in a jam.

Performance: Good. Sharp acceleration and excellent handling makes the CC a blast around town and on the highway.
Safety : Excellent. Six air bags including front, front thorax and side curtain air bags for all passengers. The CC also includes standard electronic stability control, yaw control, brake assist and electronic locking differential.
Pros: A fun car that denotes luxury at a much more affordable price.
Cons : If you want to carry more than four people it, they won't fit.
